A bit about me...
What are your aiming for?
I aim to create engaging user experiences that bridge the gap between design and functionality, ultimately reaching proficency in crafting digital products.
On the technical side, I aspire to master fullstack development, delving into server-side technologies like Node, Go or Rust, and exploring web innovations such as WebAssembly.
What was your previous career in LiveOps all about?
A LiveOps Manager is responsible for planning, creating, and executing in-game events, promotions, and content updates, to drive player engagement and revenue for an online game.
The key responsibilities of the job include event planning and execution, analytics and optimization of performance metrics, and live/online operations strategy. It is a process executed through cross-functional collaboration with engineering, marketing, and customer support teams.
The role blends analytical skills, creativity, project management abilities, and a deep understanding of games and player behavior.
How does it relate to frontend development?
LiveOps management and frontend web development share some transferable skills and overlapping areas that connect the two roles. Both have a strong focus to enhance the user experience and drive engagement and retention.
In both cases, it should be a data-driven decision-making process based on A/B testing and metrics to iterate on UI/UX and user engagement.
Finally, both operate in an agile and cross-functional environment with product and marketing teams.
What are your interests besides web development?
I am also passionate about economics, investing, and swing trading. I enjoy technical analysis and have a particular interest in cryptocurrencies—I’m a Bitcoin enthusiast! 😁.
More broadly, I have a strong interest in technology and sciences, likes Web3, IA, physics and philosophy.
